Will of Enoch Martin Stringfellow

Enoch signed his will on December 7, 1838. It was proved on May 30, 1839. In his will he named the following sixteen slaves.^[1]

Research Notes

it is likely that Enoch held slaves in North Carolina prior to relocating to Alabama in the 1830's however there are three Enoch Stringfellows in NC at the time (one is his son). More research is required to identify the appropriate Census records.
